Clothing Shapes for Broad Shoulders

This blouse shows off beautiful, strong shoulders, but keeps them from looking too broad with a v-neck and ruffles that make the eye travel in a vertical direction.

Banana Republic’s “Jackson fit” trousers are best for curvy hips, and the slightly wider leg creates a straight line from the hip down to the shoe, balancing and elongating.

Adding Curves at the Waist

This jacket makes the waist appear to curve inward because of the long, narrow lapel, the band around the waist that buttons, and the way the bottom of the jacket is open and curves outward.
